Ernest L. Padilla, Attorney at Law

Mr. Padilla founded the Padilla Law Firm in 1981, and has offered both civil and criminal legal services for over thirty years. Prior to establishing his private practice, Mr. Padilla served as General Counsel of the New Mexico Oil Conservation Commission, as well as Associate Counsel for the New Mexico Commissioner of Public Lands.
Mr. Padilla received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1974, and was admitted to the New Mexico bar in 1975. Mr. Padilla has a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting from the College of Santa Fe, and from 1968 to 1972, he also served in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator during the Vietnam era. Mr. Padilla is also fluent in Spanish.

Jo Ann Gallegos, Office Manager
Mrs. Gallegos has been with the Padilla Law Firm since 2004. Mrs. Gallegos is in charge of the overall daily administrative functions of the Firm, including scheduling, docketing, and other financial and administrative matters.
